Frequently asked questions
How do I delete my account?
Open the app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes the profile and content you created.
How do I report a bench, photo, or user?
Use the report button on the item or profile you want to flag. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and acted on within 24 hours.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password” and follow the email link to set a new one. If you originally signed up with Apple or Google, reset your password through that provider instead — Rate-A-Bench doesn’t store one for you.
How do I change my display name or avatar?
Open Settings → Profile to update your display name and avatar at any time.
A bench I submitted isn’t showing up.
Photos are automatically screened before they become visible to others, which can take a short while. If you submitted the bench while offline, it’s queued on your device and will sync the next time you have a connection. If it still doesn’t appear after a day, email us and we’ll take a look.
